HERE we see articles in the Guardian from December 2022 concerned with data breaches. In 2018, it is estimated that over two billion people had their details hacked, which is the current record amount (NASDAQ).

We see that at the top the BBC (follow red arrow) has four 3rd parties looking on. Next down, is PC Mag with 22, followed by Currys with 28. FROM the Independent, an article detailing Costa Rica's fight against prolonged ransomware attacks. A gang called Conti launched the first attack against the Costa Rican government in April 2022 and demanded a US$20 million payout. A second attack, attributed to a group known as Hive, knocked out the public health service and other systems.
